Description
Factory in the Lwów voivodeship. Initially built in 1895 when this was part of the Austro-Hungarian empire. The Polish public limited conpany was evidently a 1920 conversion of the Austro-Hungarian Galizisch-Bukowiner-Zucker-Industrie-Actien-Gesellschaft in Przeworsk (the old shares remained valid). The factory was larger than the average firm in Poland. Expropriated by the communist state after WWII.
Quite plain design with an art nouveaux border. Very close in look and feel to the shares of the Austro-Hungarian predecessor company. Stamp evidencing a later change in nominal value to 500 Złoty. Inside an excerpt from the statues. Coupons to 1923 (and 1925) were detached.
