Description
Factory built 1871 in the Dutch province of North Holland. Factory closed in 1902.
Typical design for the second half of the 19th century. Whilst the company was founded in 1871 the share certificates were issued in 1872 - presumably on the completion of the factory. The company must have been somewhat successful for a while as 16 coupons were detached - remainder here. This is my earliest piece for an actual beet sugar factory in the Netherlands.
