Description

The company was established 1925. It built and operated a beet sugar factory in the Turkish town of Alpullu. The construction - of what was the first modern factory in Turkey at the time - was undertaken by two German firms and at least initially there was also some German involvement in the management of the factory. The factory was absorbed by Türkşeker (Türkiye Şeker Fabrikaları A.Ş.) in 1935 and the company apparently wound up afterwards.

Very decorative certificate. Ornate border and underprint. Turkish part in highly elegant Ottoman-style Arabic script. Coupons were detached till 1938 (front/rear). On the reverse an excerpt from the statutes.

One of the last issues with this Ottoman look and feel - From 1928 onwards Turkey used the latin alphabet.
