Description
Set up in 1916 to erect the central Tacajo in the Oriente province of Cuba. In 1924 acquired by Compania Azucarera Antilla S.A, which owned the adjoining central Baguanos.

Somewhat unusual certificate for this second mortgage bond (in itself unusual - typical were first mortgage bonds). Three females not obviously allegorically related to agriculture and brown rather than the standard green. Stamped specimen, punchholes. Vignette of a harvesting scene with an ox-cart.
Presumably this bond was issued to finance further expansion at the company which was highly profitable at the time.
