Description
The West India Sugar Finance Corporation was set up in 1913 to finance, develop and supervise Cuban sugar companies. Amongst others it financed the Palma Sugar Company and took control of it when it was unable to bear its debt burden in 1918. It belonged to the sphere of influence of the National Sugar Refining Company.
